Here's a link for some tips on DJs going digital from www.createddigitalmusic.com

Even more interesting is Microsoft's electronic community site Crossfader
http://crossfader.com/
They got off to a good start by featuring dj-philosopher-writer-producer-novelist DJ Spookycheck out http://www.rhythmscience.com/ for info on the new book--I haven't read it yet but I'll get to it, and we'll talk about later.)
I wrote something negative about Crossfader's writing and then deleted it, thinking that It wasn't my place to dis. Then I started reading a piece Inside the studio with 2A-Sides.
Maybe it's just me but it sounds like someone's trying to be down with the "electronica lingo"
This is what they said:
"Last week at WMC the Crossfader crew ran into some cool cats from a new label called 2ASides. They do some wicked work on their PC's. Have a listen and the get smart on their words."
Get smart on their words? Oh brother...
Crossfader is still in beta so it's early, but so far it seems kinda lame.
These look cool. It's a hardware controller for mp3s, of which there are many, but these look easy to use and they're small enough to not be a pain in my ass. So many toys, so little money...

All right that's it for today.
