Kid Beyond lives up to his name.

Kid Beyond and his mix of organics and technology is simply amazing. I've seen brief clips of his handywork before but now after seeing his demonstration on M-Audio's website, I'm convinced that he is truly demonstrating the future.

Both DJs and band players need to pay attention to the innovations of this artist--and of course many others--because performers like him will make and perform the music of the future.

Here's how it will happen;I'm not psychic and I'm not pretending to be a know-it-all, I'm only stating the obvious: Artists such as Kid Beyond will take to the stage with their ultra-portable performance set-ups, (check the demo for an explanation of his gear; the primary requirement being that he can fit it into the overhead compartment in a plane.) they will knock your block off with improvised music created right before your eyes, and soon after they'll beam their URL to your mobile phone-pda-handheld-computing device along with a free mp3 for you to listen to on the way home. Afterwards while your cruising to your next destination, you can log on to their site and purchase an album, or single tracks, or you can order a DVD with artwork and cool packaging to actually possess and play out at your VJ/DJ/band's next gig. Sounds nice to me and it sure is more appealing than a bunch of whiny indie rock bitches playing the same three chords and crying about their stupid affairs.
