Every business deal you make as a musician should include a contract. Even if you're really smart and a good writer you still need an entertainment lawyer to write your contracts. Of course they are very expensive but they will save your ass if you ever make it big.

This site provides a great service where you pay a reasonable amount ($30.00 or so) and you get to download a contract. They even offer law services if you should have a big deal in the works.
